Tamil children living in South Brunswick, which has a population of 30 percent Tamil, had the opportunity to learn other arts and cultures. The lack of a proper school to teach our Tamil language is more important than all of these, was a shortcoming. This "Kumaraswamy Tamil School" was born in 2014 to overcome this deficiency.

The aim of this school is to teach their children to write, read and most importantly speak Tamil, which is the aim of an average Tamil parent. Our language is our identity; our mission is to preserve it and pass it on to the next generation. The main reason why this mission grows day by day is because of the children, parents, and volunteers who join our school.

Students will be categorized into different levels based on Tamil, age, and skill. It is managed by interested parents and volunteers. There are 350 students and 70 teachers in the 2024-25 academic year.
